Recipes from the likes of Peter Gilmore, Maggie Beer and Josh Niland, translated into vibrant posters by celebrated creatives such as Ken Done, where for every poster sold, 10 meals are donated to those experiencing food insecurity. This is the premise behind culinary poster shop Food For Everyone, which, as of last July, had donated over $186,000 to its charity partner, SecondBite. Established in 2020 during Melbourne’s lockdowns, it’s an inspiring concept to say the least, and we caught up with Founder, artist, illustrator and designer, Gemma Leslie to explore the Food For Everyone story, her most meaningful collaborations to date, what an “average” day looks like in Gemma’s world, and more. Visit our Journal for the full interview (link in bio).

Hello. Something new from us at FFE, and it’s been a long time coming! Over the years we’ve spent a lot of time working with artists, chefs and creative people across hospitality and the arts. Along the way we’ve built a wonderful network, and we love bringing the right people together for a project. Think of Food For Everyone a bit like a creative agency, just with more artists, chefs and conversations about food. We bring together chefs, artists and brands to create thoughtful collaborations around food culture. If you’re a brand or organisation looking to do something creative in the food space, we’d love to talk. Say hi 📝 [email protected]

The enduring allure of butter 🧈 from a humble fridge staple, to sculptural centrepieces, and a colour that’s drenching our walls - butter is on our minds. This is just a taste - find the full essay by @gemleslie on the website!

Our most chaotic (and funniest!) pantry tour yet?! When Yiayia from @yiayianextdoor invited us into her home, we knew exactly where we wanted to explore first! Yiayia’s iconic kitchen, where she creates beautiful and tasty food to heal the soul and warm the heart. She showed us her favourite cooking essentials plus an extra beauty tip she swears by! ❤️ Our poster with @yiayianextdoor and @mayaspaintings is available on our website now.

HELENA & VIKKI X FOOD FOR EVERYONE 🇬🇷 We’re so thrilled to celebrate the release of @helenaandvikki new cookbook with a recipe poster painted by @gemleslie — who also created the cover and chapter artworks for the book 💙 For this piece, Gemma captures the spirit of a breezy, beachside taverna: long lunches, salty air, and the warmth of Greek hospitality 🐟 The artwork is inspired by Helena and Vikki’s recipe for Sardines with Tomato and Marjoram — a dish that captures the soul of Greek cooking; fresh produce, cooked simply, made for sharing 🍅 As always, for every poster purchased, 10 meals are donated through @secondbiteorg 💫 Available now at foodforeveryone.com.au
