So much of our time & energy gets spent pointing out whatâs wrong. Complaining. Arguing. Trying to prove a point.
But when I stop myself and choose gratitude, it changes my whole mood. Gratitude doesnât erase the problems, but it makes me see all the good thatâs in my life.
So today, letâs collectively choose gratitude.
Whatâs one thing youâre grateful for today?

You donât plant a new tree every time you need paper.
So why produce a new shoot every time you need content?
Most teams forget how much content they already have sitting in their archives:
đźď¸ Photos
đĽ B-roll
đ¨ Graphics
đ Old campaigns with fresh potential
Instead of starting over, try this:
Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
đď¸ Reduce the waste. Stop creating from scratch when you donât have to.
đ Reuse what already works. Most content has more life in it than we think.
âťď¸ Recycle your best assets into new campaigns, new stories, and new performance.
Thatâs exactly what HypeKickâs Content Recycling Program was built for. We help teams do more with less and protect their creative resources in the process.
If you want to save the trees (and your creative resources), DM us and weâll show you how it works.
DISMANTLE THE HUMAN EGO
Some of the hardest growth in life doesnât happen on the outside. It happens in the quiet places where comparison fades and honesty finally has room to speak.
In Romans 2, Paul calls our attention to the subtle things that can steer us without us even noticing:
⢠That moment of self-righteousness that makes us feel a step ahead.
⢠The quick judgment that highlights someone elseâs flaws but minimizes our own.
⢠The sense that weâre âdoing fineâ simply because life hasnât confronted us yet.
⢠The assumption that patience equals approval.
⢠The slow drift from humility that slips in almost silently.
If weâre longing for a life that feels lighter, clearer, and more grounded, Godâs Word invites us to something different.
A shift to look inward rather than outward.
A choice to focus less on what others are getting wrong and more on who weâre becoming.
A choice to trade comparison for curiosity, defensiveness for self-awareness, and pressure for honesty.
Not to beat ourselves up, but to give ourselves space to actually grow.
Choose to focus your energy on work that changes you.
Day 2 of the @wellbizbrands Next Starts Now conference was awesome. We loved hearing a bit from their new CMO, Michelle DeVore, on the importance of video & sharing stories of how their brands are impacting the lives of their customers.

Itâs so important to understand the purpose of planning.
Itâs not about creating a map with turn-by-turn instructions, but about creating space to understand where youâre at & where youâre headed.
It gives you & your team an opportunity to get aligned around the mission & determine the best next steps to fulfill it.
But the plan will change.
đŹ Feedback will change your priorities.
đŻ Vision will narrow.
âď¸ And the effort required to execute these ideas is unknown.
And making progress towards fulfilling the vision requires a confidence & willingness to toss the plans out when circumstances change.
âYou make progress by planning, but you succeed by deviating.â
Faith starts the life of Christ.
Character proves it is growing.
When I read this passage, I love how Peter communicates faith as our starting point, the place where life with Christ begins. But he then shows us what that life looks like as it grows.
He describes it almost like a movement outward.
Faith begins to show up as virtue, a visible goodness in the way we live. That goodness leads to knowledge, a deeper understanding of God and His ways. As that understanding grows, it begins to shape our choices, forming self-control. Over time, that discipline builds perseverance, the ability to remain steady when life is difficult.
And somewhere along the way, our lives start turning more fully toward God. Peter calls that godliness. From there, our hearts open toward others in brotherly love, and eventually that love expands into something even wider. AgapÄ is a sacrificial love that genuinely seeks the good of others.
This is such a powerful picture of what it looks like to grow as a follower of Christ. Peter is not describing perfection. He is describing growth.
Faith begins the movement.
Formation deepens it.
Love completes it.
Humility is not just a personality trait or a vague attitude. It is a choice of posture. In 1 Peter 5:5, Peter uses egkombĹsasthe to illustrate humility as something you put on before serving others. This Greek word pictures a servant tying on an apron before getting to work.
Before stepping into a conversation, a responsibility, or a moment where we could easily try to prove ourselves, we pause and âput it on.â Almost like saying to ourselves, Iâm here to serve, not to be seen.
There is something freeing about that. When we stop trying to secure our place or elevate ourselves, we can simply show up and care for people.
