Next one to to bring on, the young bi-coastal phenom. Chill Will aka Tommy Gunz. This east and westside, jekyll and hyde started in the studios but sought out the streets. In 2018 he ran into members of the Get Down Gang and found what he was looking for. He continued to grow at an alarming rate and eventually made his way to LA to be mentored by some of the greats. He has since made a name and even now continues to grind and grow his career and skills simultaneously as he took his talents to Vegas where he resides currently. Next on the scenery, is THE B-Girl Teena Marie. Hailing from Alaska and original member of the legendary all-female crew Venus Fly Trap, her work throughout the street scene is to be revered. The Venus Vixen doubles as a professor of dance as she has taught at multiple universities. She continues to school the new generations in the original styles, and help them connect through the blending of modern and contemporary. She has directed and produced her own performances and continues to tour with notable dance companies like Ephrat Asherie Dance. She is the Swiss Army Knife of the crew because she can cut you in any style. Aside from hip-hop she breaks, waacks, locks, and continues to grow her arsenal, honing her abilities in afro-dance and popping. Time to start giving you a glimpse into who we are. We'll start with a few of our newest heads who decided to Get Down with the Get Down. Causmic @cameronlboyd and J-Sun @bboyjsun . Both of these cats have been getting down for years! From the studios to the streets, Causmic has been in the world of dance since he was youngin. He has adopted different styles. He eventually would find himself drawn to and gravitate towards the art of Popping. His style exudes creative exploration and internal connectivity. The man is about elevation in many ways. Be sure to peep his style.
J-Sun hails from Minnesota and is a true B-Boy through and through. From years of battling, diving into the art world, and even when it comes to community activity, he's a true representative of hip-hop culture. He continues to dance and battle at an extremely high level, even with breaking evolving at an insane rate. He even took his skills to China and went toe-to-toe with the younger generations, reaching top brackets and overall gaining their respect. He has a knack and passion for uniting communities and continues to be a well of knowledge to anyone asking. It's safe to add that he's probably the last person you want against you in a battle, haha! But it's all good vibes still!
