“I’d like to see a reality where young women are given an opportunity to work, not just entry level but also contribute at a larger scale” Young women deserve more than a seat at the table. They deserve the infrastructure to build entirely new ones. Real change looks like policies that are tracked. Institutional gaps that are reported — not ignored. Stories that do not just reflect reality, but reshape it. Because when the narrative changes, the room changes. @kofoisart broke down how @wearegst is closing the gap between conversation and accountability — because talking about it is not enough. #womenchangingwork

Gatefield’s CEO Adewunmi Emoruwa has been selected as one of 100 global Changemakers from more than 40 countries convening in Rio for the MenCare Changemaker Summit.  Adewunmi will contribute to the Men and Care Policies track, bringing Gatefield’s experience at the intersection of gender equality, public narrative, and systems change. At a moment when care remains structurally unequal and harmful ideas of masculinity continue to shape public life, the convening reflects a growing global effort to build healthier, more connected futures for men, boys, and communities.

“I will like to see more workplaces design work around real human experiences” Real change looks like promotion pipelines that are tracked. Parental leave that is protected. Cultures that do not just welcome women into the workplace — but actively build pathways to leadership. Oiza Alonge, Gatefield’s People Operations Lead explain why work should reflect real life and why the design to achieve that must be intentional. #WomenChangingWork #PeopleatGatefield #thebeststart

Nigeria has an AI governance problem. We joined @jolaayeye & @fkabudu on @isaidwhatisaidpod to explore a reality that is already here: AI is being weaponised against women, with little to no accountability. This is a gap we are working to close

“9 in 10 Nigerians are ready to see women in leadership.” Yet only 30% of C-suite roles in Nigeria’s formal sector reflect that reality. At an intergenerational brunch convened by the @abujaglobalshapers , Gatefield’s Chief of Staff, @oiza_alonge , shares how parental leave reform can convert public readiness into structural reality. #TheBestStart

Air quality is a primary factor in the life expectancy gap between different cities. Residents of Lagos average 55 years compared to 71 years in Cape Town. As Hope Lekwa, Policy & Advocacy Analyst at Gatefield, notes: “Toxic air damages lungs, disrupts development, and quietly cuts years off life expectancy.” Link in bio for full insights. #EarthDay

Christina, Gatefield’s Narrative Practice Lead, breaks down what has to shift for women to truly thrive and lead in the workplace. #WomenChangingWork #PeopleatGatefield

Last weekend over brunch with @abujaglobalshapers , we unpacked what the data really says about women’s leadership in Nigeria — and why it matters now. 💙 Key insight: support for women leaders is rising, but structural care gaps continue to constrain women’s full economic participation and leadership. @oiza_alonge , Gatefield’s Chief of Staff, shared why closing the care gap is essential to unlocking women’s leadership at scale. 📷: @osarenkhoemaxwell

A busy NGO does not always mean impact. Most nonprofits are drowning in outputs but rarely building the systems, leadership, or capacity that actually drive growth. Impact scales when organizations design better systems, empower decision-making, and fund capacity. Philanthropy can play a critical role in making this happen.

“Society is ready and the systems can catchup.” According to the 2025 Reykjavík Index, 9 in 10 Nigerians believe a woman can be CEO. So why aren’t more women actually in charge? In this video, Chiamaka Chinwendu breaks down what it takes to close that gap: 🔵 Build pipelines through real access 🔵 Care solutions like parental leave reforms 🔵 Turn evidence into action through clear ownership
