Our digital spaces are under threat. The state of Online Harms Report reveals a digital safety crisis: 🔹Nigerians believe tech platforms are too powerful and lack accountability. 🔹50% of harmful content is never removed from the internet. 🔹63% of citizens say X and Facebook carry the majority of these online harm incidents. Poor enforcement allows online harms to spread and affect everyone. We must hold big tech companies accountable for securing our online spaces. More recovery time means healthier mums and better productivity at work. So having a 16 weeks fully paid maternity leave is not a luxury for mums. It’s necessary for postpartum recovery, mental wellbeing, and stronger families. Add your voice to the movement. Mothers in Nigeria are still forced to choose between having an income and recovery after childbirth, and that cost shows up in maternal mental health, baby development, and family stability. The solution remains ensuring at least 16 weeks of fully paid maternity leave to support postpartum healing, bonding, and better outcomes for both mum and baby. @gatefieldimpact is calling on you to add your voice to the movement aimed at giving Nigerian babies the best start for healthier families and a stronger future. Protect the family and prioritize her sustenance. Link in @gatefieldimpact bio to add your name. #thebeststart #fullypaidmaternityleave #beststartcampaign #mumconfessions

Nigeria has an AI governance problem. We joined @jolaayeye & @fkabudu on @isaidwhatisaidpod to explore a reality that is already here: AI is being weaponised against women, with little to no accountability. This is a gap we are working to close
