The hardest working grammy winning #studiorats in the game Jamey Z and @gatecitizens "GC" drop hip hop reggae jazz inspired tune to explore the craziness of making it in the music game. I met GC back in 2013 when I started as the house engineer at Shaggy's "Ranch Studios" in Valley Stream, Long Island. Andre could sing, rap, write, engineer and make amazing beats so it was a great time when he was in the Studio. The songs we would do for Shaggy ended up smash hits and grammy winners, so I knew I needed GC to bless my first attempt at making a Hip Hop Record. I sent him this beat 1st before anybody else on the album and 2 hours later he sent be back this amazing verse and hook! It was enough of push me to realize I could do an entire album featuring my favorite collaborators from my years in NYC. This song features verses from @downtown_dawson and @fre_og plus guitar from @mattygmusic horns by @rjavallone
