I love getting back to my roots and nothing stokes me out more than hanging with my snowboarding family during HOMESICK Weekend!!! This marks our fourth year, and I have to say, this one was the best year yet. Each year I try to do something a little unconventional for the sake of exploration. Last year I shot in infrared using a converted Canon 5D and this year I shot on a Fuji GFX MarkII with a converted Nikkor 8mm 2.8 Fisheye. I am so stoked on the shots. Takes me back to the early nineties punk, skate scene. Hope you enjoy them. 🤘

Here's another one for the books. I recently teamed up with AIlen Iverson in Charlotte to shoot the visuals for his new Amazon Prime Documentary, AI, directed by the incredible @_one9_ . We gathered a few iconic images that I took throughout his career and projected them onto him and the scene. I am really happy with the result. If you are a fan of AI, this documentary is a must see!!!!

So blessed for the opportunity to collaborate with Beatrice Domond and my homies at James Brand on this one. We spent the better part of a few days traveling around NYC capturing Beatrice as she went about her daily routine. She said, "In New York I can be a fly on the wall and still be myself" From day to night we documented the rhythm of her days and saw how the Nocuturne collection from James Brand naturally fits into that flow, moving with her through a city that never slows.

Couple days before thanksgiving 2005, @ninoscalia hit me and said pack a bag, flying you down to Miami for a 48 hours. Get a callsheet. Next day on location in the trailer, Nino, and @pharrell come in with a bag containing dozens of samples of Boardflips. Little did we know we’d walk a couple blocks over and shoot these images with a man that has captured so many iconic moments of the era; Mr. @garyland 📷 Shortly after, Gary’s photographs become introductory ads, and cover art for @djdrama greatest gangsta grills tape… 🖖🏼🛹💎💲🍦☠️

This is a classic throwback post!!! The year was 2000. A few of us from Reebok flew out to New Orleans to meet up with Juvenile and the HotBoys to deliver custom kicks for them to wear in their music video “I Got That Fire” We pulled in to the Magnolia projects and was greeted by a young Lil Wayne. I jumped out of the rental car with my camera and was met with a middle finger. I knew right then it was going to be the best day ever. We pulled out the duffle bag of never before seen custom HotBoys kicks and they all lost their minds. Everyone was there including Slim, Baby, Mannie Fresh, Juvenile, Lil Wayne, Turk, and BG. That day was unforgettable as I paraded around the projects shooting film behind the scenes for one of the biggest acts of the time.

For me Skateboarding has always been a catalyst for inspiration. From board graphics to skaters individual style, and the many photographers who captured a generation of iconic images. Looking back through my archives I would like to celebrate @steviewilliams , and his incredible journey and contributions he has made to skateboarding since '94. DGK ALL DAY!!!

A few weeks back I had the opportunity to shoot Shohei Ohtani as the Dodgers were in town for a 3 game series with the Sox. Upon arriving that first day I quickly realized that this wasn't the normal crowd. Although the place was packed, the atmosphere felt different. Baseball fans came from far and wide to see one man put on a show, and that man was Shohei Ohtani. Due to just how packed the place was, I had no access to the press box but could bounce around from seat to seat when one opened up. Well giving that this was one of the most anticipated series of the season, my chances of getting a good shot or glimpse of Shohei would be slim. That first night I was lucky enough to snag a spot behind the netting, next to the Dodgers dugout, for a few innings and captured some frames with my Canon R5 and 28-70 f/2 and 100-300 f/2.8 lenses. The rainbow over the new balance sign was confirmation that I was in the right place at the right time.
