I spent so many years in the music industry losing sleep over how quickly the needle was moving. It felt like everyone around me was moving faster, and the best I could do was try to keep up.
But as the years went on, I learned that (unsurprisingly) it’s all about the steady ride! The crowds, hotel rooms, plane rides, songwriting sessions and everything in between. These moments are where a career takes flight, and I’m grateful for all of it.
Age is just a number, people, and I’m just getting started. ⚡️

There’s a lot to unpack in this video. @glenphillipsmusic was a voice that influenced me early-on. Meeting him was completely unexpected in 2006. Becoming close w he and his family and having the chance to collaborate w him both on record and on the road has been a dream come true for me. Glen deserves every good thing the world has to offer and he will be the first person to take the light off himself and put it on you.
Glen and I both adore @indigogirlsmusic and I think he would say they’ve influenced us both in many ways. They are heroes of mine, as I’m sure they are to many of you as well.
