We will keep the raffle open a few days after the event, giving y’all plenty of time to purchase tickets!!! I drove forklifts for over 20 years and I loved them, so this was a treat. I will consider myself a success when I have my own one. Whoa, just coming down from an incredible weekend at @losttrades Most of us are tucked away working on our own and suddenly BAM we are out there surrounded by likeminded souls who totally get it. Not to mention the amazing bunch of people who came to support us (the public). Most of the time when I'm trying to sell my work I am explaining my pricing which quite frankly is pretty demeaning. But not here. I have never felt more seen and appreciated. Felt so empowered after taking a blacksmithing course at Garrett Forgeworks with Alice in the southeast subrubs of Melbourne! The sessions being run are for people identifying as female, non-binary, or anyone queer/LGBTQ+ - basically providing space in a traditionally male-dominated industry for us to learn and grow without the pressures that some of us are familiar with.
