Had the best evening celebrating the launch of STAY FOR A SPELL, the gorgeous debut by @amy_coombe_author . I love this book so much; curses, hilarious princes, an aquaphobic barn pirate and the princess trying to just enjoy being trapped in a bookshop. Oh, and the cutest little tentacled cat! Spent the day with @mhayinde , watching her sign 500+ copies of A DANCE OF BURNING BLADES and it was wonderful! Publishing 7th April but signed copies are available at Goldsboro (exclusive edition) and Forbidden Planet.
I don't know how I came home with so many new plushies, all I know is Modupe is an enabler...

A week of doing *mumbles*th birthday stuffs. Right in the middle of Ramadan but a great way to end my x0's, with amazing food and even better people. (Basque cheesecake made by @gergaroth and armour from the Samurai exhibition. Not pictured, the lego and jellycats 😍)
Roast beef at @lizdejagerwriter and @gergaroth 's to celebrate Liz's bday. Those potatoes were heavenly and the beef was *chefs kiss*. I will be waddling around for the next week.
My niece just sent me these. First lot of cross stitching I'd ever done, all of them sewed on to a duvet cover and pillowcase. She's 15 now, this was 16 years ago 😳
And done with work for 2025! And what a fun way to end the work year, Bridge Command with the Orbit nerds (minus James 😔). The karaoke pictures will never see the light of day but fun was had!

Received the Broken Binding edition of @jamesloganauthor 's THE BLACKFIRE BLADE this week and I am obsessed. The purple is gorgeous and the red door beneath the dust jacket is stunning!
