In one week exactly, the doors of GalleryC6 open for a very special evening with @journalofthesoul ~ Sophia Kai.
We feel incredibly grateful to welcome her voice, her poetry, and her presence into the gallery. What she carries through song and word is rare ~ something that invites us to slow down, listen deeply, and remember the quiet spaces within ourselves.
On March 21 (Spring equinox) at 6:30 PM, we will gather for an intimate night of live music, poetry, and shared presence.

Yesterday, as we closed the doors of the gallery, the streets of Barcelona were still carrying the echoes of the March 8 demonstrations.
All afternoon, waves of people passed near the gallery ~ voices, banners, conversations, chants. Some stopped, some came in, many shared reflections about the world we are living in and the one we are trying to build.
Across the world, the conditions that make violence against women possible are not accidents. They are the predictable outcomes of systems built on domination, extraction, and hierarchy ~ economic orders that render care invisible, political structures that legislate bodies while failing to protect them, and cultural narratives that normalize power while asking the vulnerable to endure.
The consequences are everywhere: femicide, inequality, mothers raising children inside precarity and war, and generations of girls inheriting struggles that should have disappeared long ago.
And while progress has been made, it is clear that we still have a long way to go.
For us, this is not an abstract issue.
Gallery C6 was founded by parents of two young daughters. The world they are growing into ~ the rights they will inherit, the safety they will feel in their own bodies, the freedom they will have to exist and to speak ~ is not something we can take for granted.
Art spaces exist within society, not outside it.
Yesterday was a reminder that the work of building a more just and dignified world is collective, unfinished, and deeply necessary.
Our doors are open, and this space will always welcome and encourage these conversations and discussions ~ pushing boundaries, questioning systems, and imagining a more just future. One day “celebrating” women is and will never be enough!
Blessings tribe 🤍🪬🌾 In the lead-up to the Spring Equinox, @yasminjuliebergmann will be holding a new Reiki gathering at GalleryC6 Lab.
This session is shaped as a preparation space. A time to slow the system, clear residual tension, and arrive more balanced as the season turns toward renewal and outward movement.
Following her previous session, participants described feeling deeply cleansed, lighter, and notably more energized in the days that followed. Some spoke about a sense of remembering something essential within themselves. Others noticed sustained vitality and clarity well beyond the session itself. The integration, it seems, continues after leaving the room.
Yasmin, co-founder of C6 and certified Usui Reiki Master, will guide a focused Reiki session, followed by a shared moment of questions, post-care and community building. This second part offers space for reflection, integration or quiet listening, allowing the experience to settle rather than dissipate.
The intention is simple. To create the internal conditions for a more conscious transition into spring. come as you are, bring your medicine to the space & let’s take a moment collectively to slow down. Creating a sacred space for our nervous system to lean into It’s wisdom, allowing a moment for the sympathetic nervous system, to rest and move into the parasympathetic stage in order to truly create the somatic conditions for ourselves to heal and regenerate new neuro pathways.

not about performance, but presence —

Four and a half months after welcoming her second child, @yasminjuliebergmann returns to GalleryC6 Lab with renewed intention.
As we move through a wider collective transition — departing from a period marked by introspection, shedding & collective sacred grief, we are now at the crossroads from the Wood Snake moving into the energy of the Fire Horse — this reiki session invites grounding before acceleration. A moment to root before momentum in rapid transformation & untamed freedom as the Fire Horse represents a 60-year cycle for bold unconventional action and major social shifts encouraging a new fiery collective placement.
Alongside her work as co-founder, artist and designer, Yasmin is a certified Usui Reiki Master, having completed the full lineage training within this traditional Japanese method. Reiki, in its original form, is a disciplined practice rooted in presence, attentive touch and energetic balance.
This is a path she has carried with discretion and rigor. She now opens a dedicated monthly space within C6 to share it.
These sessions are not framed as spectacle or promise. They are structured, grounded environments designed to regulate the nervous system, restore internal coherence, and invite deeper listening. The approach is precise, respectful and held with care.
