El otro día la llevé à mi madre 3 horas en coche para visitar à su amiga que sí jubiló en medio de Pennsylvania. Comímos juntas y otras 3 horas de vuelta ! Así son las distancias en EEUU 🤪 Pero disfrutamos mucho de la Road Movie. Día de la madre se celebra todos los días 🩵
Era él pueblo de Gettysburg dónde pasó la batalla mas sangrienta de la Guerra Civil. Casí 60k muertos en 3 dias. Una barbaridad tras otras. Una batalla tras otra, todo él rato...

Hace un par de semanas tuve la suerte de conocer a @bakermovies y @blackkittenmadeintaiwan en uno de mis cines favoritos de NY @metrograph cuando presentaron su primera pelicula juntas TAKE OUT (2004). Mañana presentan en España à nivel nacional su última colaboración LA NIÑA ZURDA. Coloquio especial con @isabel.coixet streaming miercoles 28.01 en varios cines por todo él país. So on Thursday I was at the Holy Week processions in Madrid with @linoescalera and @edylanight … and the PRIOR Thursday I was at a deliciously heartwarming dive bar on the riverbanks of Trenton NJ with SteveNextDoor… and the PRIOR Thursday was in Manhattan with @latriciuzza at a very top shelf book event where we met people like @spacekerianne 10 days before her space flight. Talk about channel switching ! … keeping me flexed….

I must say that there’s something poetic about you leaving us while your beloved city of Los Angeles was tragically in flames ❤️🔥 Fire Walk With Me ❤️🔥 I have no doubt that you are now walking through a spectacular corner of the universe, living unimaginable new experiences.
I’m a pretty private person and have been pretty private about our friendship over the years, a friendship that I will cherish for the rest of my days. But in the coming days I’ll share some of our stories because I’m deeply touched by all of the friends around the world that have been reaching out to me. You touched so many souls and maybe my sharing of stories will help help some of them, and me, process this great loss and celebrate the beauty left in your wake.
Here’s a photo from the day we met, on an airport runway in Rome, to be followed by our time together in Madrid, Paris and Los Angeles. Thank you for all of the light and inspiration over the years.
