Home for the holidays. Coming back to Michigan in the winter time now fills me with a kind of guilty nostalgia. Familiar places that pass by in car windows, all still waiting right where I left them. It’s a bittersweet feeling knowing that this place sits a thousand miles from me now, simultaneously waiting for me yet entirely unaware of my absence. Until next time.
