Meditative, year long process - second pic was 1/16/25 and last one January of this year. I would return to this piece whenever the time felt right, and learned a lot about how slow down a process and let go of that guilt that we place on ourselves as creatives when the work feels stagnant. Proud to share this one !
Echo Park last weekend ✍️becoming my new favorite spot in la, so much creative inspiration and cool people there. Thanks @cwmoss for hosting a dope sketching workshop. I’m working on being more playful and not caring as much about the outcome. It’s helping bring more life into my sketches.

SKATE & SKETCH
Saturday, December 6th
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
A live urban sketching workshop and conversation on skateboarding with Gabe Stein.
All ages, wheels and experience levels welcome!
Free with optional donation $5-$20
The duration will consist of an introduction and warm-up sketching in the gallery, then we will head outside to hit some skate and sketch spots nearby in downtown Riverside. All materials will be available for purchase, but participants are encouraged to bring their own sketchbooks, pens, pencils, watercolors, or other desired materials.
This event is ultimately about seeing the built environment around us as a starting point for our creativity, and taking back agency over the spaces we inhabit. If you are an artist or skater, neither or both, join us to learn more and connect with like-minded folks.
Join us for a skate sesh at T-Street afterwards!
