To most people, it’s just a feel good saying, but actions speak louder than words 🗣️
99% of “Hoopers” enable a toxic culture of on-court crash outs, punching down, and leaving the court unhappier than when they arrived - hiding behind the excuse of “being competitive” 🙄 (and mainstream social media hoops makes it worse) (Exhibit A: I gOT iNTo A fIGhT aT tHe CoUrT! = 10M views)
Believe it or not, it is indeed possible to play good basketball, battle competitively, and still respect your opponents both on and off the court.
Basketball has so much more to offer than simply “getting buckets” and that has always been a core value of Dabbly Ducks.
