My artwork Musical Crystal Cave embedded in a giant glowing underwater tapestry created by 80+ artists for the Future Lab(s) Gallery Glow Show.
Musical Crystal Cave is an interactive artwork where participants control the generation of a musical soundscape using two control levers. One lever controls the rhythm, the other controls the melody, and both together create music. By modulating the controls, participants can "DJ" the artwork. The music is generated with with a complex modular network and slowly mutates over time, so each participant hears something new. Glowing crystals react to the generated music in realtime.
