Last week we had an exciting visit from a Year 1 class at a local primary school, who have been collecting plastic bottle tops for the Plastic Revolution!
The children came to Future Makers Studio to see what happens to their collected plastic:
♻️ They tested the bottle tops on the Plastell by @matohascience
♻️ Sorted the lids by plastic type
♻️ Watched the granulator in action
♻️ Sprinkled their plastic flakes into a mould tray, ready to be transformed into a sheet
It was amazing to see them so engaged with hands on learning about sustainability, circular design and turning waste into something valuable.
