We learned so much from making this portfolio for @ohlmanconsorti . We love a little brutalism (the sexier version of minimalism, right?) but we also love contrasting content with presentation. The thing is that we are usually the ones pushing the client in this regard, but not this time. The end result is a true collaboration if there ever was one. We kept asking each other hard questions which didn’t have typical answers. And in the end it’s a simple site structurally, but cooked in a way that is true to the seductive complexity/simplicity and contradictions that make Ohlman Consorti so compelling. It was a joy and an education to be part of their process. Let us know what you think :)

It’s about time we share our wild ride with @theannadelvey . A few years back we wrote about it in this Twitter thread. We'll post more things: docus, podcasts etc soon. It was this thread that got the attention of Jessica @presslerj . In her infamous article that catapulted Anna into public consciousness, we represented one of the few victims that didn’t “deserve it”, i.e. not a banker, or private jet startup. She’s clearly become some kind of feminist anti-hero. When in fact, she represents the worst of contemporary human progress which seems to be spearheaded by the very platform you’re reading this on. What can we tell you about dealing with Anna? She truly is an industrial scale liar. We have literally 100s of emails where she very diligently lied about my studio’s payment coming through. And she still hasn't paid us by the way. But think about it: the 1000s of lies generated just for our invoice. Now take that and multiply it by everyone she knew and conned. Imagine the scale of deception? So hell no: Anna isn't smart, she's not business savvy. Just imagine the day to day slog of keeping up so many lies and stories? So gross, so icky. There was no way this was ever going to work. How was Anna going to get all the artworks she *didn’t* have into ADF? Did she really think that there’d never be a person in NYC who wouldn’t dig around and expose her bullshit at sometime? C'mon 😂. Her naivety and stupidity is astronomical. Sorry, but Anna Delvey is the demon child of our digital times, not a feminist anti-hero. We’ll be the first to admit that it makes a damn entertaining story. But that wasn't her goal, right? She’s just a reflection of all the things that are wrong in these times. We said in the HBO documentary: "We all have a little Anna in us", what we meant by that is that we all fake it 'til we make it. We all project ourselves to where we want to be. There’s nothing wrong with that! But you don’t need to be deceptive and lie your way to where you want to be. 🆕 E-commerce site for @atid.uk , an online clothing platform by @alexander_taylor_studio , which takes their decades of experience creating industry changing products for the likes of Adidas to focus on limited edition, technical apparel and accessories made from biomaterials and leftover inventory. We were brought into the project by @studioveronicaditting who created the branding, employing the visual language they created into every detail. One challenge faced was the fact that the clothes are unisex, so how do we show the products in a gender neutral way? Our solution was to load each product model randomly, and allow users to choose the model type they identity with via the navigation. Big shout-out to our development partners Ingamana who went the extra mile on this.

[Queue dramatic making-of music 🔊] A website for @tullochofficial , an ultra-luxury watch brand that has launched its first product, the T-01. Limited to 50 pieces, and entirely hand-made in St-Sulpice, Switzerland – twice. During the first assembly, the watchmaker refines the positions of the components and regulates the watch for optimal timing and performance. The second time, the finishing is perfected on every component before re-assembling the movement and extensively testing everything once again. The site leads the user through this total dedication to an exceptional outcome and various customisation options right down to the twin-barrels with hand-made guilloché.
