Throwback to this time last week, where we were extremely proud to have won the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Award at the fantastic Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards 2022. This really reflects our people first philosophy, which underpins everything we do here and our genuine focus to making a difference to the people we work with and work for.
A massive thank you to Will Hunter for organising the event, it was great to celebrate so many achievements within the construction industry.

A great shot of the ‘Net Zero Pavilion’ from our @londonfestivalofarchitecture event last week, which we designed alongside @glosfordsips and @kingspaninsulationuk . Utilising Structurally Integrated Panels Systems, the pavilion demonstrates the ability to deliver NZC using Category 2 off-site manufactured solutions and it will remain on site here at The Leather Market @workspacegroup courtyard.

We're excited to share our new images of The Underwood, our affordable housing scheme providing 8 new #NetZeroCarbon homes in Greenwich. Seven of the houses are 2 bed homes and one is a fully wheelchair-adapted 3 bed home.
This project demonstrates that with the right approach, inspiration, and motivation, we can achieve #NZC affordable housing using MMC (SIPs), with limited additional cost, and a traditional delivery method.
The project has been warmly welcomed by the existing local community and by the new residents moving in.

We are delighted to have received overwhelming approval for our planning application from @hounslowcouncil planning committee last week for our scheme in Gresham Road. The project provides 56 flats utilising offsite manufacturing modular technology, new public access and landscaped public realm. Great work from @carter_jonas_llp and the Fuse Team.
We are excited to see our Fuse Zero team progressing well with delivering retrofit under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund. The work is fascinating as we design and model more and more houses and flatted blocks.
Having set up the division over 2 years ago we are now seeing sites delivered (alongside planned works and building maintenance ) with savings and improvements that are making a genuine difference to people’s lives and tackling fuel poverty.
Our Technical Director Matt gives his thoughts on a recent SHDF panel we were involved with in the attached blog highlighting key information and how important this is.
Do get in touch to chat about wave 3 and our approach

We are delighted to have secured another planning approval with Regent Land & Developments for 4 family homes on the corner of Coombe & Edridge Road, Croydon. Working with @_q_square_ , we developed the scheme in response to the history of the site and the setting of the neighbouring Grade II Listed Ruskin House.

Our technical director Matthew Tear took part in a panel event this week with @morgansindallpropertyservices and Arcadis, chaired by Andrew Cameron-Smith from @unlocknetzero . We welcomed clients , RPs and Local authorities and debated Wave 3 , our collective approach and experiences to date with previous SHDF waves .
Matt and the panel focused on understanding Wave 3 of the SHDF funding, concentrating on the key areas and chatting through our approach at Fuse , the library of details and archetypes we have assembled, the need for information and collaboration and integrating the work with estate regeneration , infill and planned works. The panel all agreed early collaboration in the process is the key to getting the moist from the funding to make a real difference to people’s lives and our journey to net zero. The Wave 3 deadline is fast approaching so if you want to chat about the next steps do contact us.
We are super excited to be part of @houseproud_lgbt , delivering social housing and support to the LBGTQ community. We had an incredible time on Saturday as we joined the House Proud team marching in the London Pride Parade 2024. We danced, blew our whistles, and spread bubbles and love with the thousands of people who came to celebrate and show support. House proud is a key component in the social housing world providing support to LBGTQ colleagues and residents and it is an important part of our Fuse approach to putting hashtag#peoplefirst.
We are excited to have been accepted as a qualified supplier on the CHIC UK retrofit Consultancy. Our dedicated Fuse Zero team are busy working on the design and modelling of a variety of retrofit decarbonisation schemes.
We have experience of flatted schemes and individual houses , including listed and historic buildings and we can see its making a real difference to peoples lives as we tackle rising heating costs and fuel poverty.
Do reach out to us if you want any further information.
