I paid ₦28,500 for amala and TikTok has been dragging both me and Taj Restaurant 😂😩 Apparently the real issue is the number of meat in the bowl…for the price they were expecting a full goat inside 🤣😭 #abula #abuja

One of the highlights of my trip to Abuja was visiting @diakwucloth . I had been eager for a long time to see the incredible work happening here, and it was truly inspiring to experience it firsthand. Their deep commitment to sustainability is remarkable. Created a footprint that is kind to the environment while working with several fashion brands, including FIA, to turn textile waste and offcuts into wealth and opportunity. Of course, I couldn’t resist trying one of the looms myself. Let’s just say you need to have eaten eba for strength 🤣 and have vision 20/20 because these glasses were not helping. My eyes were turning on their own 😩. Major kudos to the women behind the looms who do this with such precision and patience every day. Beyond the weaving, the impact on the community is powerful. They work closely with local women, producing and donating female hygiene products from fabric offcuts and teaching practical skills like soap making, creating opportunities that improve livelihoods and enrich the community. It’s thoughtful, intentional, and powerful work. Seeing it up close made me appreciate the craft even more, the discipline, the skill, and the beautiful women I met❤️ Thank you @ijethriftyslayer
