Rooted in ideas of water memory and water as voice, the performance revisits the legacy of Kayal Sammelanam (1913) through live underwater sound, folk songs, and spoken word.
The project is part of the KNMA’s Rolling Museum series initiated by Avik Debdas that decentralise the idea of museum, transforming the public space into living, breathing and listening museum. This edition is curated by Avik Debdas and @chinmoy_deori .

A thunderstorm gathering over the sunbeaten city on a late afternoon.
A spontaneous combustion.
A beehive on a foraging frenzy.
A roomful of crazy balls in superslow motion.
A doorbell lands in the middle of a noise field.
This EP by @mandakinicables is a trace of these encounters: of curiosity unbound, of circuits that spark only in contact, of flights that carry the risk of detachment. What you hear is both coherence and its undoing - a music of thresholds, distractions, ejections, and improbable returns.
