introducing âopen pagesâ â our newest series where we pass the mic to attendees in the room! everyone who walks through our doors carries something worth sharing and open pages is where we listen.
entry 01 is a reminder that self-care doesnât always have to look like what youâve always believed it to be. do you agree? âđœ
the search is officially over đ«

a week ago today, the self-care cafe was open and serving up exactly what we needed. on the menu was journaling, breathwork, community, and connection đ”đđ«âđœ
none of it would have been possible without the incredible brands who showed up for us â thank you to @chuhmatcha for keeping us caffeinated and calm. @gomacro , @eatbobos and @sietefoods for the most perfect bites. @kachava , @getgorgie and @peterthomasrothofficial for making our gift bags something truly special.
and a very special thank you to @wtchefdmv â who not only hosted us in the most amazing space, but provided charcuterie and hospitality that had our guests feeling like royalty from the moment they walked in. you made the space feel like home and we are so grateful. đ€
to every woman who came â thank you for trusting me with your time, your heart, and your practice. until next time!!
storytime on how i turned fear into an opportunity to try something new. to date, itâs the greatest risk iâve ever taken đ
ready to say YES to the next chapter of your healing journey? our upcoming journaling workshop is in 2 weeks and we have just a few tickets remaining. link in bio to secure your spot !!
weâve all been there.
journal open. cup of tea. sunlight hitting just right⊠the kind of morning that looks like healing.
so you snap a pic and then a quiet thought creeps in.
âis this actually for me, or do i just want it to look like it is?â
performative or not â iâm not here to decide that for you. what i do know is that the page holds something most of us have been carrying for a long time. whether you journal with a cute notebook and a candle lit or in the notes app from your phone - something in the writing is working on you.
these prompts are an invitation. no rules. no right answers.
just you. đ«
filling up a room at your next event wonât happen if youâre trying to do everything by yourself.
balancing it all might sound impressive⊠but in reality youâll just burn out and be stretched WAY too thin. i know this because for a long time, thatâs exactly how i was running my events.
trying to greet every guest, remember the group photo, check the time, adjust the music, and still hold space for the experience itselfâŠ.
eventually i realized something had to change.
the most intentional events arenât created by one person doing everything⊠theyâre created when the right systems and support are in place so you can actually be present in the room you worked so hard to bring together.
if you host events â or dream of hosting one someday â this series is for you. stay tuned for the next episode!!
journaling isnât meant to be perfect and polished⊠itâs mean to be liberating.
will you be joining us next time to experience the freedom of writing without judgment? âđœ
this feeling never gets old!!! đ„č
four years ago in feb 2022, i flew all the way from maryland, across the US to host my second journaling workshop EVER in los angeles⊠all because one of my amazing retailers that carried my journals in store, saw an intimate 12-person workshop that i hosted and believed in me enough to invite me to their space to do the same. that february marked a moment where i realized that maybe teaching workshops could actually be a thing for me and this business of mine. fast forward, iâve since led thousands to date all because of that continued leap of faith.
this weekend we hosted our first journaling workshop of the year and it brought back all those same feels. it never gets old seeing new attendees, hearing their stories and guiding them along this incredible practice of journaling that has so deeply changed my life. whether you are new here or have been part of this community since day one, i thank you for being here!!! đ«¶đœ

happy womenâs history month đ
before we celebrate the women weâve becomeâŠ
we have to honor the little girl who shaped us.
this womenâs month, iâm reflecting on the younger version of me. the version of me that needs healing, the version that deserves praise and the version of me that has never stopped dreaming. this month, i invite you to check in with her too because sheâs still there đ«
here are a few journal prompts to guide you.

when @growtherapy asked us to create a crafty mindfulness activity for their providers, we delivered âšâš
our affirmation pressed flower station was a hit and became both a moment to step away from the bustle of the event and a natural conversation hub. each of the colors represented an intention they wanted to call in⊠purple flowers for compassion, blue flowers for peace, orange flowers for creativity and so on. they delicately pieced together and framed their creation on-site!
this experience is available as an add-on to any of our activations and we couldnât be more obsessed đž
