2025 — Year of the 🐍 Snakes don’t beg. They don’t explain. They shed. Quietly. Painfully. Completely. That’s what this year has been: a long season of detachment. What (and who) no longer fit fell away. Growth required space. And in the middle of all that shedding, life surprised me. Unexpected people arrived— becoming important in ways I never could have predicted. Change isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s silent. Sometimes it’s lonely. But it’s necessary. You can’t grow new skin while clinging to the old ✨

A year ago, I moved out of the home I shared with a man I deeply loved. Nothing prepares you for how hard it is to let go of someone you still care about — not just the person, but the life you imagined together. 💔 I wasn’t strong then. I was scared, exhausted, hopeful, and numb all at once. I grieved the parts of me that tried so hard to be “enough.” I grieved the girl who believed love alone could save everything. I grieved the version of me who kept choosing hope over truth. And somehow, piece by piece, I found myself again. Not all at once. Not in a clean line. But slowly… quietly… honestly. The breakup didn’t harden me—it softened me into myself. I’m proud of the woman I fought to become. And I’m still becoming her. 🕊️ 📷: @fullerframes

On New Year’s Day, my dear friend @brandonjfuller was tragically involved in a car accident while walking the streets of LA, sustaining severe head, spine, and leg injuries. He has recently been moved out of the ICU but continues to experience significant pain, with an uncertain timeline for recovery. I’m making this post because Brandon is one of the most kind, compassionate, and generous humans I’ve ever known. He’s a brilliant director, photographer, and all-around creative force of nature. A wonderful and righteous man who truly makes the world a better place.
