The concept behind the album is rooted in ancient folklore, referencing the five venomous creatures used in the making of Gu poison. Snake, scorpion, centipede, toad, and salamander. These creatures symbolize a ritual process of internal conflict, energetic forging, and spiritual transformation.
Spanning six tracks, the album traces each stage of the Gu ritual: from the gathering of ingredients, sealing and brewing, to the final act of invocation. In terms of sound design, FTK weaves together traditional Asian instruments .
Including Indonesian gamelan, Taiwanese beiguan gongs, hand cymbals, wooden clappers, suona, and jaw harp ,with driving Techno, Drum & Bass, and Breakbeat, creating a sound that is both mystical and visceral.

2026 T.A.P. project
Honored to bring my music into National Taichung Theater for the Light Curtain 2026 T.A.P. Project.
This piece, “Green Resonance: A Future Ecological Symphony,” explores the tension between nature and human development.
I focused on the sense of transformation—starting with soft pads, strings, and field recordings (birds, cicadas), gradually introducing electronic bass, distorted percussions, and industrial textures as human presence emerges.
Transitions use Shepard tones and sub-bass movement to shape a rising/falling spatial illusion.
In the final section, irregular arpeggios and kick patterns create a black hole-like pull at the center of the space.

I overheard a tour guide at TFAM telling kids:
“This sound system represents how Jamaica’s working class built DIY rigs from whatever they had, using music at night to release the pressure of daily labor — eventually giving birth to reggae.”
The artwork uses marble formed under extreme pressure, symbolizing how music is forged through struggle.
