Māori tā moko artist Moko Smith has partnered with Specsavers for a second year to launch a new limited-edition collection in partnership with The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ.
This year's collection draws inspiration from the relationship to Pounamu, a stone that holds a special place in Māori culture.
According to Moko, the frames feature several traditional elements, which help tell the story of where we have come from and where we are going.
For every frame sold at Specsavers, $25 goes towards The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ.
Specsavers has donated over $1,000,000 to The Foundation's programs, aiding Pacific people with preventable vision loss.
This year, with Moko's designs, they aim to raise a further $60,000 in donations.
The Foundation is working with Pacific partners to train and support Pacific eye care specialists, aiming to strengthen eye health systems and create sustainable services.
Specsavers hopes that more donations will help end avoidable blindness and vision impairment in the Pacific.
Truly life changing work. @specsaversnewzealand
Living in a household with sporty children and pets with no chill about cleaning up after themselves can be frustrating.
The living room couch is the most used furniture in our house so it’s a given it will need a good clean from time to time.
We’ve always used professional services to clean spills and stains from our furniture and vehicles but can be quite expensive. So having a @vaxcleanhome_nz Platinum Spot Wash cleaner will save you time and money. It’s so easy to use and clean.
The biggest flex apart from the price is the compact size and weight, being super portable using it around the house with ease.
Can be found at your local Bunnings Warehouse #vaxcleanhomenz
I've been worried about breaking stuff if ever attempted to fix or build things around home but I've come to realise, you just need to start small and everything is all part of learning but sheesh using power tools so fun, especially when you get praises from the wife who is more handy than you lol.
Enjoying the projects around home. Bring on bigger projects. I'm ready @ryobinz 🛠
When every dollar counts, we headed down to Mānawa Bay to shop around for a running outfit and check out their Back to Sport Outlet Sale that's running until the 19th of April. @manawabay #MānawaBay #BackToSportSale
Just that ✨️☝🏽
We got caught by rain and crazy winds hiking on the first day but the rewards afterwards was sensational.
Grateful for this able-bodied for allowing me to experience moments like these and make life long friends trekking outdoors.
Second time walking up this maunga and it's still a buzz.
3 days trekking through the winding paths of the Northern Circuit, our footsteps light with laughter carrying the weight of a small child on our backs 🫠
