I donāt always get excited about building things⦠but Iāve realised I actually love the opposite just as much. Thereās something way too satisfying about getting to pull things apart and not overthink it, just get stuck in and use a bit of brute force.
Having done a couple of decks now, Iāve definitely built up a bit of confidence with dismantling, so this sheep ramp didnāt feel nearly as chaotic as the first time.
Bit of @ryobinz hammer, bit of reciprocating saw, and it honestly came apart pretty smooth this time.
All they wanted was somewhere to put the recipes.
Now the herbs are organised and the gardenās moved closer to the kitchen. šæ

While D was away in Hawaii I thought it would be a great chance to start the new deck Reno, but first that meant dismantling the old sheep deck out the front which I thought was going to be an easy job. Turns out this wool shed deck was built old school meaning it was tough as guts!
Luckily the Ryobi team came to the rescue very last minute for me with a Reciprocating saw that tore through the whole deck so much easier than my muscles and a hammer!
Now the next phase is to do the same to the old sheep ramps
Working on my woodwork room for my new @ryobinz tools, I had the most beautiful interruption.
Three little eggs rocked up to the shed and man, they fill my cup in a way nothing else can.
Three little humans that bring me happiness, fulfilment, and real perspective on whatās truly important.
For a dude who was born dead, three months premature, battled cancer at 13, and has dealt with constant issues with my puku, life still feels incredibly rich.
My mokos live up north in the whÄnau homestead, so having them here with us at the shed is a much-needed treat.
Thanks, son for being an epic dad raising three epic little eggs.

Come equipped with RYOBI. Stay tuned to see the finished product next week! šŖ
