We're getting ready to open our next exhibition this Wednesday!
How pleasant to go to a friend on a visit! brings together work from over 40 artists connected to Humber Street Gallery and its wider community.
Spanning painting, sculpture, installation, and moving image, the exhibition presents work submitted through the Fruit Factory Guild membership scheme. Artists were invited to contribute a single work, with each contribution included, resulting in an expansive and diverse snapshot of current practice.
Together, the exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to encounter a wide range of contemporary practices â moving through a varied landscape of works, where ideas of transformation, presence, and observation emerge across different forms and materials.
