**REPOSTING** It’s like the whole world showed up for this fight. Saturday night was explosive! I’m still processing everything that happened. Mainly the fact that I had the opportunity to work with the 🐐 Esther Lin @allelbows .This experience was everything that I dreamed it would be and more. Way way more. The production was a masterpiece, the lighting was perfect, the Showtime staff was insanely welcoming and friendly. Felt like I’ve known those folks I just met for years lol. This one here was a dream job and to say I’m blessed is an understatement. Thank you Esther, Rey and Caitlin 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 @tamronamericas #withmytamron
Some Cagezilla 90 action from last week @cagezilla It’s been a little min 🤙🏿🙌🏿🙏🏿 Extremely behind on posting new content but I’ll catch up eventually 😝
Quiet Moments: Vulnerability
I love these type of moments in the back room where the fighters warm up. The quiet moments where you get to see them with themselves like in this clip. You get a chance to see the lock in and the focus before their fight and it’s one of my favorite things to capture.
These rooms are always crazy and I don’t always get a moment to get back there but it’s always something to cool catch when I do. Win or lose it takes guts to step inside a cage or a ring as a fighter. It takes guts to be vulnerable.
“Never be afraid to shoot your shot. Reach out to those brands, teams, athletes, and organizations you want to work with. Ask what they need and be clear about what you’re looking for and look for ways that you can help. Offer your services with confidence and professionalism.
The worst thing that can happen is they say no or just don’t respond. But the best thing that can happen is you create an opportunity that didn’t exist before.
A lot of us have the same humble beginnings and no one starts out a pro. We all usually start in school gyms, small local businesses, local weekend tournaments etc. Those opportunities are important because that’s where you learn how to tell stories, work with people, meet new people and solve problems under pressure.
Treat every opportunity as a lesson, something you can take from and grow into who you want to be. Talent gets you in the door but good energy and professionalism will keep you there. Always be professional in how you communicate, how you deliver, and how you conduct yourself. Be someone people always want to work with again.” - Taylor Sims, Freelance sport & portrait photographer

Chasing Light: @fromtaylor_ ⚡️
To showcase the best Track & Field athletes in the world, we brought in an extraordinary creative team — the best photographers, videographers and creators from the Track & Field space and beyond — to ATHLOS NYC.
We are proud to showcase some of our favorite shots from Taylor Sims, who nailed it when she said that we “go for the things that have never been done before.”
I was surrounded by Kings! New work for @lakings This was such an amazing experience for me. LA is like a second home to me so to have a bit of the west coast on the east coast is always a good thing. First time that I went out to LA back in 2014 I bought an LA Kings bucket hat at a store off Hollywood Boulevard lol. Over 10 years later I’m covering a game for them in DC. Crazy turnaround! God is good, all the time 🙏🏿
Women can do anything!!! I can’t believe this only the second year for this event. @athlos really knows how to make the girls feel special. I’m amazed and honored to have been brought on to this team. Shout out to my friend @howlaophotography for having me as your partner! You’re always looking out for me in this space and I truly appreciate you. The night was high energy the entire time and it was incredible seeing how many celebrities and fans came out to support WOMEN in track & field. Excited for the future of this sport and excite to see what other ways Athlos and these stars can make history 🤩🤙🏿
