Public art is rare here. Billboards are media buys. So when the brief came in for Tet, we treated it like a canvas instead of a placement. So here’s how we did it…

Spatial Translation
A single visual system, translated across three conditions.
From a low-resolution LED facade rendered in pixel form,
to a continuous curved tub led screens of light,
to a seamless curved screen.

Main Visual Breakdown
Our approach for this project started with a shared foundation: a single White Horse model and movement language 🐎
This core system was then shared with six artists, allowing each of them to build their own environment and interpretation around it.
Together, the chapters form a journey across Vietnam — moving from north to south, past to present and future:

A journey through time, memory, and transformation.
Commissioned by Saigon Marina IFC and affiliates, we developed the full visual world for 8 Collective’s installations — bringing together 7 artists to reinterpret the White Horse as a symbol of movement between past and future.
A contemporary take on culture, told through light, motion, and scale.
