I raced in the Sasquatch Duro gravel event for the 2nd year in a row. Was able to improve my time by about 11 minutes this year! Got the heart rate up to 193bpm on the toughest climb of the day! Ended up placing 9th/25 in the Men’s 40-49 age group!

I’ve been weight training 2x per week for the past 5 months, the most consistent stretch of my life I expect. Today I got out the camera for a first attempt at a new PR of 225lbs on the bench. Was actually able to get one at 235lbs immediately after this clip. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far and looking forward to more!

2026 Memorial MP40 Champion! 🏆
I had a great time in the Arizona desert as always. Was lucky enough to play 3 straight rounds with the same group of guys as we were able to pull away from the field a bit. Huge shoutout to @swithers38464 for an incredible final day battle. We came into the day tied, through 5 holes he had taken a 1 shot lead. I had to play 100% mistake free from hole 6-18 to eke out a 2 shot victory. My final round came in at -13 after playing the 18th for par to secure the W. It was so much fun to throw pressure shots and to know that Scotty had the answer every time. Big thanks as always to the tournament staff for their hard work.
