In the Asian communities, we sometimes find ourselves in jobs we don’t like because we were expected to go into an industry that our parents wanted us to do. It’s not because they didn’t love us and wanted us to suffer at work. It’s because of the love they have for us that they place these job expectations. They just wanted us to be successful. And in their estimation, the jobs that were most financially stable were the jobs of nursing, doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc. But what’s happening is that these jobs that we were expected to work are now creating resentment, frustration, and even depression because we are in a job that is sucking the soul out of us. It then leaks onto our family members and loved ones. These feelings are emotional inflammations that carry a heavy and toxic energy. And if we don’t heal these inflammations, they manifest themselves into physical inflammations that can result into skin irritations, high blood pressure, heart attack, cancer, etc. Now is the time to stand in your power and pursue the things that you want to do in your life. When you do what you want, your Soul begins to Smile. It’s a much healthier lifestyle and if you’re doing what you love, you will become more successful than you realize.
