Moving so fast, no time to process 😵💫🚀
Almost 2 months into this new adventure, and boy oh boy what a start it's been so far! With new and cool opportunities coming my way, I'm feeling grateful for everyone reaching out and supporting me! 🙏
But the reality of building a new business from the ground up is no joke. Freelancing gives unlimited freedom, but theres a catch! 🐍
The thing nobody takes about is how easy it is to default back to full-throttle mode, especially when there's no one else to stop you, but you!
We seem to have been conditioned to think that only way to create a successful business is to work 8 days a week 25 hours a day. But i think that's total BS!
I have to catch and remind myself that it's necessary (even crucial) to slow down a bit, take the time to build and grow my brand sustainably, instead of rushing and losing myself in the process.
Directing is more than having a vision.
It’s about how well you’re able to communicate that vision to your team, your clients, the talent - to anyone who’s involved with the project, really. The clearer the direction, the easier things can flow.
From the first start of an idea, all the way to the day on set, having the skill to communicate your ideas effectively with all types of people and roles is key for successful collaboration, and it shows in the work. 🤟
So instead of “locking in” and let people guess what you need, why not “chill tf out” and share your vision out loud? 😜

I think one of the hardest parts of photography is which ones to pick, and which ones to let go. Especially when most of the shots are bangers!
The way I select photos is to scroll through quick, and if one sticks out of the crowd, thats most likely a keeper.
The shot has to make you feel something the second you see it, or else it's just another 'pretty' picture. And we have quite enough of those going around already 👀
