Last year I had the 5th Get Go Games exhibition organized in Den Haag @ngodeiorg , haven’t had time to post the artworks and rooms properly until now. I met Danielle @daniellefisser at our Schenkt Kunst! @foyouart Christmas market at our table last year. She came with her glowing energy and big smile, next we found a connection between us very quickly. She suggested a collaboration with me about an event with her breathwork workshop and my games. What a wonderful idea! So we decided to meet again which we just did two days ago. Unbelievably we came up with super quick idea and contents. Within 1 and half day we finished the event poster together, and she even sat up the event page already! 🌟☄️ I must say I haven’t worked with someone with such efficiency since a while, which I love! It reminded me how I used to work with my former colleagues in Hong Kong😘. Thanks sis for your effort, input and passion! If you love sauna you should check! I was told the sauna carbine is like a UFO?! I wish I could join the event and see the location, but then I will be in Hong Kong…maybe next time! One of my biggest achievements last year was that I finally managed to bring my 7 meter high piece of art to another city to exhibit after the Europe - Global Gateway exhibition in Lyon & Copenhagen in 2022. Three years later, I am so happy that it got the chance to be shown in Heidelberg, displaying during one of the coolest festival (probably the coolest) @metropolinkurbanartfestival in Heidelberg last summer. While painting a 55m x 17m wall together with @we.n.u plus organizing job of our crew, it was another crazy time for me to handle my own art piece delivering from north to south Germany at the same time. From this project, I have learnt a great lesson about logistic / art transportation in Germany! Oo, did I mention the weather had been changing from rain, sun, storm, rain, sun, rain within several hours while we were painting as well? Besides the relatively large art piece, within a short walking distance, I got a room to show my feature animated-film as well at the @commissary.phv . Thank you very much to @pascal_baumgaertner for believing in me, who is very kind that always think of me and our crew @we.n.u when there are projects with fun, creativity and challenge :D We (at least I) love it! 我相信，呢排，好多人，無論係香港人，響香港又好，唔喺香港又好，係唔係香港人都好，心情都非常沉重。 上一年返屋企，感受到響香港嘅大家嘅抑鬱、壓力、無奈⋯⋯聽咗好多，亦希望盡量可以同大家傾吓，開解大家。走咗之後，嗰種負能量大到一個點，頹咗兩、三個月。其實過去嗰幾年都feel到大家嘅抑壓、煩躁，不過上年好似更加嚴重。 有朋友唔明點解我每次返去都咁忙，有嘢做冇嘢做都好，即使冇嘢做都由早餐、午餐、tea time、晚餐、宵夜/甜品排到滿一滿，每次返去就算有時只係兩個星期都見過百人⋯⋯只係想make sure大家都ok，盡量見到就見，聽大家呻，大家聽我呻，或者一齊苦中作樂。 今次返到去，好不容易，卒之感覺到大家好似從陰霾行出咗啲，冇再咁鬱住，大家都多咗笑容，或者可能係已經明白，好多嘢改變唔到，唔開心又係要過，倒不如笑住過。過去幾年，香港人好似鐵打一樣，每日接收著不同荒謬程度嘅資訊、新聞；社會經濟同日常生活嘅銳變；昔日一切嘅正常變得唔尋常； 但係打不死、靈活變通、屢敗屢戰嘅香港人，轉個方式，仍然找到自我生存空間。 當我諗住今次返完屋企之後，唔會再好次上次咁，點知，臨走前嘅一單新聞，全城加全球哀悼⋯⋯我以為過咗一個星期會好啲，但見到有色定冇色嘅圖片、悲痛欲絕定互助互愛嘅內容、正面定負面嘅文字，都不以為意random咁觸及神經⋯⋯如果你都同我一樣，我希望我哋，可以化悲憤為力量，又或者化腐朽為神奇，繼續如常，做好自己。為咗大家，為身邊嘅人，最先嘅可能係為我哋自己。照顧好自己，先可以照顧到其他人。🫂（<- 一路以為呢個icon係錄影機，上年终於知道係hug🙃) 唔多響呢度擺旅行照Post嘅我，今次揀咗啲相，獅子山上下，以圖解說，見水飲字，唔再多講，最後一張，如夢初醒，日出（旭日）初升。希望大家可以從黑暗中看見及走向光明。 願死難者在天之靈，得以安息🕊️，其家屬和朋友能慢慢從傷痛中走出來。多謝任何一位向災民伸出援手嘅你，並且向消防人員、義工、勇敢提問的記者們、道出真相的各群眾等致敬🫡。 May all the Tai Po fire victims Rest in Peace and their families and friends be healed day by day. 🤍 #hongkong #lionrock #mountain #water #nature #nationalgeopark #sky #restinpeace #香港 #獅子頭 #獅子山 #山水 #見水飲字 #家 #保重 #珍惜生命一分一秒

The latest piece of art I created for the 5th GET GO GAMES exhibition @ngodeiorg in Den Haag. I composed a song and put a short version of it into a music box I built. I added a little feature that gives it a smoky fiery feel. It is the most complicated piece of art I have created so far, lots of technical issues and questions have been raised during the process, even more complex than my other new work “A Little Reminder” clock. The name of the song is called “Hot Pot Gor” 邊爐哥. “Gor” 歌/哥in Cantonese means song or brother. The full length of the song can be listened at the current GET GO GAME exhibition @ngodeiorg . This act, simple yet irreversible, was a gesture of remembrance — for political prisoners, for those living in exile, for everyone who has been silenced or displaced. Each strand that fell carried a story: of loss, endurance, and the fragile persistence of home. Shaving was not an erasure, but a way of laying bare — of returning to what is human and shared. As the hair gathered at our feet, I thought of what cannot be taken: memory, love, the will to remember. What Is Left became both a ritual and a threshold — a way to honour others, and to begin again. When everything else is gone, I still ask myself: what remains, and what is left to give? *October 30 is the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions.
