We also loved our time as festival promoters. It all began in 2003 with our very first festival, United Nation, created as a fundraiser for those who lost their homes in the devastating bushfires. It was incredibly rewarding to give back to the community and use music to bring people together in a positive way. From there, we launched Foreshore Festival, which went on to become one of the country’s most iconic festivals, followed by our winter festival Warehouse, held at the AIS Basketball Arena. We’re immensely proud of what we built with these brands and of the unforgettable moments they created. To have brought world class artists to our beautiful city and to have played a part in shaping its music culture is something we’ll always carry with pride.

Friction welcomes back one of our all-time favourites, @kraftykuts returning to our daytime soirees, where he has consistently delivered some of the most fun parties we’ve had the pleasure of hosting for you legends. If you’ve been to one of his shows, you already know. Pure party breaks, relentless energy, and a dancefloor that doesn’t stop moving. This time, he’s bringing something extra. Krafty Kuts returns as part of his new album tour, showcasing material from his forthcoming release Turbulence, landing 10 July 2026. Known for constantly pushing his sound forward, this new body of work draws on UKG, breaks, bassline and beyond — twisting familiar elements into something more unpredictable and club-ready. Joining him is the undisputed GOAT of turntablism, @crazearoni The only solo DJ in history to win the DMC World Championships three times in a row, Craze is widely regarded as one of the greatest to ever do it. His sets are a masterclass in technical skill, musical range and instinct, blending hip hop, breaks, bass and club sounds into something uniquely his own. It’s not often you get both of these artists on the same lineup.
