A lot of creativity going on in the Animating Landscape workshop at South Hill Park Arts Centre on Saturday. Using collages, mixed media and Stop Motion Studio on iPhone, we looked at Victorian panoramas, building storyworlds and how to simulate live action camera moves like zooms and pans in animation. Thanks to everyone who participated. All the animations created will be on display in the gallery! This workshop was put on in conjunction with the exhibition ‘Holes’ by Birgitta Hosea that runs from 7th Oct-10th Nov. Announcing ‘Holes’, a solo exhibition by Birgitta Hosea at South Hill Park Arts Centre Installed within a peepshow, Holes is an abstract animation that hints at a visceral journey through the female body traced by oil pastels, milk, ink, detergent, lipstick and pomegranates using hand drawing, fingers, After Effects and a microscopic camera. .uk/shp-events/holes/ [link in bio] The exhibition includes production drawings used in the making of the film, and immersive drawings created after it was finished. LO spazio pop-up performance: live experience through your senses, amplifying sound and blurring the visuals.
