Torn for
@freqsystem • Weeks of Freq
This is Torn’s first publication made in house from start to finish. The idea was to flip a vintage Texas weekly calendar with photos from Freq’s archives. In addition to 54 photographs, there are 2 white ink prints to tear out and 12 stickers.
To make an edition of 100 books, 3300 sheets of paper were printed folded + collated by hand, 10,400 stitches were sewn by the GFS-14, 200 sticker sheets were die cut on the Heidelberg windmill press, 200 prints were perforated by hand, and 100 books were glued by hand.

I feel very honored being asked to make this- it felt like a personal project as it brought back so many memories. I love making things for friends!
