I have liked For Good since the first time I heard the song and have always wanted to record a cover of it, but never quite found someone I thought would be the right person to sing this song with me. When I started cosplaying as Magnus and later came across the Edom scene in Shadowhunters, where the characters were potentially separating from each other forever, I knew this was it. Plus, there are other similarities between Glinda & Elphaba in Wicked and Alec & Magnus from Shadowhunters (feel free to comment to let me know what you come up with).

Started a new job on my birthday and reconnected with some familiar faces I haven't seen in a little while! (But also had to say goodbye to some folks I got to work with a bit more recently...)
To this month, I still get students thinking I'm a student teacher lol I wonder how many more years I can keep this up 😜
Making this kinda makes me miss my content creating days... but nah 🤔 but maybe...

2023 was quite the year to say the least...
The good, the amazing, the bad, the ugly, the exciting, the unexpected and everything in between 🤯
It's really hard to put it all my thoughts and feelings into words, but I am grateful for this rollercoaster ride and feel I've grown a lot from these last 12 months. (I mean...I AM about 15lb heavier than I was in January lol but it's more than just physical growth)
Here's a recap of some things that stand out in my mind:
I started substitute teaching again (and students recognized me from my TV days in HK lol)
I saw over 25 professional stage productions (Almost all musicals & majority in UK)
I attended my first convention (not for work. Plus I cosplayed!)
I got to meet one of the people who inspired me to pursue a career in the entertainment industry (and had a bit of time to chat together)
I worked very hard in the gym and reached a lot of PRs (finally benched 225lb!)
I had multiple health setbacks..
I had one of the worst work experiences in my life (Yeah..)
I had some of the best work experiences in my life (Yeah!!)
I traveled to many cities and countries for work & leisure (USA, UK, Portugal, France, Japan, Hong Kong and many cities in Canada)
I moved (still based in Toronto area though)
I reconnected with old friends and met some new friends along the way
I realized my mind is quite strong and I'm a fighter (and I don't give up)
I definitely manifested a number of things haha
I think I still need more time to compile my thoughts, but if you made it this far, thanks for sharing this piece of my life with me. This year will definitely go down in history as one of the most eventful years in my life to say the least. What is one of the most special memories you have from 2023?
In 2024, I aim to be a biiit more present on social media (so you all know I'm still alive lol) I have so much content that I havent posted haha

In life, sometimes you challenge yourself & sometimes life challenges you 💪🏻
Do I look that lean right now? Nope, but with some dedication and discipline, I know what can be possible 😎 (Still got lots to learn though)
Can I bench that weight right now? Nope, even though the videos were recorded just a number of weeks ago, and I'm very happy with the progress I've made since restarting training seriously this year (Shoutout to @carlo_joseph13 once again cuz he is a crazy gym partner, in the best way possible lol), sometimes there are setbacks and you just gotta take your time 🏋🏻♂️
Who knows what the future holds, but I'm a fighter (no, definitely no physical fighting atm lol), and I guess we'll just have to wait and see where life takes me in a few more months 👀

Another year of trying to blend in with high school students 😂 (key word is trying lol though I'd like to believe I still succeed sometimes)
Lots have happened/changed in the past year! It was definitely a year with a lot of self investment and comfort zone pushing 👌🏻😎 There were many new experiences with lots of growth & leveling up (and some struggles..)! 💪🏻💪🏻 I'm very grateful for all of those, because they helped me become the upgraded version of me I am today 🤗 Huge thank you to everyone who stuck around (you know who you are) 🙏🏻
