Our winners: -William is a newly licensed skydiver who took us back to his student jumps and reminded us how important it is to relax and enjoy the moment, no matter what you’re doing. His perspective on KAVU bringing people together really stood out to us. It doesn’t matter if you’re doing something fast like skydiving or something slower and more laid back. He loves skydiving for the chance to focus on the people around him and create awesome memories, and his desire to give back and share that experience with others in the future is something we can absolutely get behind. After talking to people who know him, it’s clear he’s incredibly kind and brings a great vibe everywhere he goes. William shows us that you don’t have to be the loudest to make a positive impact, and we loved hearing that he’s found a place where he can truly be himself and help those around him too. We’re so stoked to get the chance to jump with him. -Ross nailed it when he said we have the power to treat every day like it’s cloudless. Mindset and positivity are what this is all about, and it’s hard for us to think of someone more KAVU to the core than Ross. Ross has dedicated his life to service. He’s a Marine veteran and a paramedic, and now he’s taken that same commitment into starting a nonprofit that helps fund skydiving licenses for veterans, first responders, victims of child abuse, and gold star children. He’s still serving, giving back, and still helping build an even stronger community. So we think it’s time someone gave back to him. Beyond that, Ross’s positivity and stoke are infectious. Winter Training Camp Florida with THE gang! We went to @skydivecity for 2 weeks to take a break from the European cold to fly with our friends and get back into the sky together.
