Behind the camera, I felt the weight of history in every frame as I sought to honor the essence of the real Jab Jab.
This project in collaboration with the GTA was more than a shoot, it was a ceremony, an opportunity to tell the story of the true Djab.
Becoming Djab is both a tribute and a call. This isn’t something you wear, it’s an awakening.

After working on this project for over an entire year now, I'm happy to announce the release of "New Land - the Kalinago Dream" - a documentary about the last remaining indigenous people of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean. 🏝
The movie theater premiere will take place on the 14th of November, in the zeise kinos in Hamburg Ottensen. Right after, we will host an After-Show Event to connect with other creatives and interesting personalities. For now, this will be the only opportunity to watch the film. The Grenadian release of the film will be announced in 2023.
50% of earnings from the premier event will be donated towards continued support of the creative community in the Kalinago Territory.
