“When I’m on a shoot, I try to remain as close to the character as possible, sometimes even without realising it, because you never know when you’re asked to click your fingers and turn the character on,” explains actor, @freddiethorp on embodying the persona of another. “Between shots, I try to remain focused so that when it comes to shooting the scene I’m already there.”

"For me, the first thing to look at is how the character is similar to you, and that’s usually the easier bit to bring to the performance," shares actor, @freddiethorp . "Then I look at how the character is different and that’s the work. Physicality is often an entry point for me in finding a character. I’ll play around with a heightened walk or overly pronounced gait."
