The final stretch of the island, the north side. Big rolling onshore swell, breaking waves on random reefs and very little wind.. this part I was super focussed on carefully pressing on without any mistakes. A fall on this part probably would mean mission failed and I couldn’t allow that, so I didn’t fall.
Total time 5hrs and 5 minutes, 150km job done.
Next I have some competitions to focus on and then later this year I want more.. 200km across the North Sea, open ocean. Different gravy that.
100km in.
50–60 to go.
Still flying.
Somewhere out here it stops being about distance…
and starts being about who you are when it gets quiet.
No crowds. No shortcuts. Just wind, water, and mindset.
This is Part 1 of the journey around Boa Vista.
The beginning always feels good… let’s see what comes next.

Sometimes you plan everything… and it still doesn’t work.
Sometimes you don’t plan at all… and it becomes the best day of your life.
There’s no perfect formula. Only one thing matters after all, do it every single day.
“I need space”
So I went and found it.
Out here there’s no distractions, no opinions, no limits.
Just me vs the ocean.
This is where I reset. This is where I remember who I am.
This is Boa Vista — a remote island off the west coast of Africa, sitting alone in the Atlantic. No crowds. No safety nets. Just wind, ocean, and lots and lots of life in the ocean..
I set out to ride around the entire island on a wing foil — over 150km of open water, exposed coastline, never been done before, sections with no roads, no people and no way out.
At this point, the body starts to settle…
but the mind starts asking questions.
How far can I really go?
What happens when things stop going to plan?
And how much of this is physical… and how much is something deeper?
The ocean doesn’t care who you are.
It doesn’t reward ego.
It only gives you what you earn.
This is just the beginning.
More to come.
150km. 5 hours. No support.
Recently, I circumnavigated the island of Boa Vista in Cape Verde — 400km off the coast of West Africa, deep in the Atlantic.
No support boat.
Just two remote checkpoints and long stretches of untouched coastline with no roads, no people, no margin for error.
This has been a goal of mine for 5 years.
Only now — with the right equipment, training, and mindset — was I ready.
5 hours later… done.
The first person to complete this by wing foil.
Full story coming soon.
A few days ago I completed a full circumnavigation of Boa Vista — riding 150km of raw coastline and open ocean.
No shortcuts. No shelter. Just wind, water, and whatever showed up.
I held back early… stayed calm, stayed efficient.
Then in the second half — I pushed.
5 hours 5 minutes later — job done. 💪🏽
This is just the beginning.
Full story + full film coming soon.

It’s all going so well, until it is not 😨🤪⚔️
This gave me a good slap in the ribs but luckily it didn’t really hurt for very long and I just carried on 😊
Foiling is one of those sports where you’re either literally flying and it feels amazing or you’re somehow eating shit and you just have to accept that and keep moving forwards somehow..
