I’m not sure why Freda Silk was chosen as the winner of this category as there are many wonderful creative dancewear brands out there. Maybe it has something to do with:
- handmade to suit ALL dancers, whatever your age, body shape, skin colour.
- one woman owned and run business punching way above its weight!
- made to order means little waste and the ability to source eco friendly materials
- a personal service where I can create exactly what you need, be that a dance school uniform, an extravagant piece for a photo shoot or costumes for an international touring ballet company.
Whatever the reason, I’m incredibly grateful for the recognition and relish the opportunity for Freda Silk to continue to flourish.

I’m preparing a few bits to take to @intballetintensives masterclass today and as the sun’s out I did a little set of photos in the garden.
