Canada faces a growing shortage of skilled tradespeople, including culinary talent, making VCC’s top-ranked Culinary Arts and Asian Culinary Arts programs more important than ever. By training the next generation of chefs, VCC is helping sustain restaurants, hotels, and institutions across the country while preserving important culinary traditions. This is especially critical in Vancouver’s Cantonese restaurant community, where many Hong Kong-trained chefs are nearing retirement, creating an urgent need for highly trained new talent to carry these traditions forward.

Money, money, money! @palsautismsociety #abbacadabra themed gala saw 500+ guests raised a record $830,000 and counting. Two decades ago a group of mothers came together with a dream… to create a space for their children on the autism spectrum to have a space where they can learn and thrive. 20 years later, PALS Autism Society is a dedicated elementary and secondary school in BC for children and adolescents with autism.
