hey FREAKS! @carlnard here, currently writing you from the sidewalk in Copenhagen where i’m gearing up to take on the marathon on sunday, this time as a runner, alongside some of our friends & familiar faces, @rasdolla@liaporcelli@zoeboocock@claire.asmussen@helenerichsen & @nolannnj and about a billion other runners from all over the world…
but in the meantime, i gotta catch you all up on where we’ve been this marathon season!
in Boston we teamed up with @concoyne & his @riderrunclub crew for a run in the rain from @heartbreak.bos before cheering on so many runners on an amazing day in the city.
a week later, we hopped the pond and hung out with @conrmc & @jwarnockk of @sapgoodenergy for our first ever event in London, meeting their incredible community during a run around battersea park before we had like four plates of pancakes.
it’s been really exciting to be a guest in two new places for us this year and we could not be more grateful to our friends for having us! basically what i’m trying to see is we love meeting so many FREAKS during marathon season!

ok.. i’m probably gonna be very biased here but imo i think @cucb is one of the best race mornings in the entire country and to cap off an amazing morning, the district showed up for an amazing weekend in the city.. let’s catch up!
for me personally, it started with an 18 mile long run as we inch closer to marathon training. saturday morning we teamed up with our local friends at @dolcezzagelato & @mintednewyork for a shakeout run around town before some yaps over coffee while i worried about not messing up my pic with @amydeng__ . but also got a mom hug from one of our runners, so basically weekend was already made, early!
in the afternoon, we team up with @kanefootwear & @pynrs_ as they released their collaborative revive shoe. (yes we got a pair!) - it’s always a good time when @districtrunningcollective ’s very own @marsgreen is on the 1’s & 2’s.
overall, it was basically another reminder of weekend of why this is my favorite weekend in the district. and as always, race day day did not disappoint!
congrats to everyone who raced this weekend and thank you so much to everyone who not only joined us, but showed up and celebrated the sport of running and the community in general!
hopefully we’ll see you again next year!?
