This project came out of my curiosity for Egypt — its culture, its people, and the new generation of creatives shaping something fresh. Met @mazen.zakiiii online, we shared a few ideas, and instantly connected over the idea of celebrating Egypt’s new wave. The next day I jumped on a flight to Cairo, and four days later we were shooting. @cityboystudio produced the whole thing and were a huge help in bringing it together. It made me very happy to work with an Egypt-based team and to connect with so many new people along the way. Sometimes the most spontaneous projects turn out to be the most fulfilling.
