We came together to celebrate the world’s leading bartenders and rose above the clouds in a Zacapa experience that lit up the city.
Delicious cocktails poured, Latin beats pumped, and we danced the night away.
At the heart of it all was Annabelle Schneider’s @annabellesbubble breathtaking Cloud installation, inspired by Zacapa’s legendary House Above the Clouds.
Paired with the powerful storytelling of Lorena Vásquez @lorenamasterblender & Vanessa Leon @missvdleon the room came alive with vibrant, electric energy.🔥

World Class Global Final is coming to Toronto in 2025!
World Class is the largest global bartending, cocktail & hospitality competition with over 55 countries involved. Canada has won World Class Global Bartender of the Year 4 times in the past 8 years! Kaitlyn Stewart in 2017 from Vancouver, James Grant in 2021 from Edmonton, Jacob Martin in 2023 from Toronto & Keegan McGregor making it back to back in 2024 from Halifax. Many tears of pride have been shed watching the hard work & success of these humans. Massimo Zitti (2022 World Class Canada Bartender of the Year) & Jeff Savage (2019 World Class Global Runner-Up) have been the most incredible support system for our National Winners heading into the Global competitions producing our most recent back to back winners! Jenner Cormier was the very first World Class Canada Bartender of the Year in 2013 & from his experience sparked a positive shift in the Canadian support program leading to where we are today. Industry legends Shane Mulvany, Grant Sceney, Lauren Mote & Chris Enns all earned their place as World Class Canada winners & alumni as they continue to lead in Hospitality globally. I have so much pride watching the effort, dedication & care that pours into this program.
Michael Armistead, had the clear vision for this program since the beginning, ensuring each year our Canadian winners stay within the World Class Canada program; judging Regional & National competition, mentoring the successive National Winner in their Global journey, touring Canada with extensive education & brand seminars & keeping the alumni deeply involved in the program. Michael’s legacy has been to connect our Canadian hospitality community with absolute inclusivity within our vast country of Canada – clearly solidifying Canada as one of the industry’s best. This vision has grown to be what is now known Globally as the World Class Canada family – incredibly talented, humble, supportive, industry-leading & excited to host the World.
