Experimenting with new flexagon type (new for me, not new for this world đ). It's a sequence of four squares cut in half - so can be awesome for all sorts of storytelling things, but for now it's a meditative pattern type thing =)

Been walking around much, so here's three birds three suns and three pairs of very long legs.
Flying back to Russia tonight. Plane to Moscow, train to Petrozavodsk. Then driving with dad back to Finland.
Might have to keep posting mountain pics for a while yet. Because this all has been way too beautiful.

A few more pics from Petrozavodsk before I share Kazakhstan stuff. I was there for only a couple of days, mostly dealing with bureaucratic errand type things. But now my mom has a magical paper that allows her to do pretty much anything in my name in Russia (except for the somewhat random cases when it doesn't), and I have a functioning Russian phone number again.
Did a cheetah drawing for the first time since 2021, I think. Left-handed, of course. Drew this one looking at a guy talking on his phone sitting on a flower bed while I was having my coffee.
Sketched the beast when I could. Got to draw while mom was playing the piano.
Found another one of my paper puppets hiding in one of mom's doorways in full flying position.

Yesterday was a day of cat drawing in mom's kitchen. I got a couple of "scrap paper" type sketchbooks that I won't worry about ruining and can flip pages and quick sketch as often as I want for this trip. Planning to do a bit more live drawing than usual.
I met Marzipan in person for the first time (Marzipan is red and white, the black and white cat is Kinza). Marzipan is a cuddle monster and will purr in your lap for hours.
I'll go listen to mom playing the piano now and draw a bit while she plays. I haven't done that in almost a year.

Cut out some zen sheep stickers on the train to Helsinki. Kept falling asleep with scissors in hand.
Upgraded the LeppÀvaara train station parking lot with a found violet blue porcelain shard and some stonework.
Sitting in the back seat with grandma and grandpa - and mom and dad in the front. Saw three rainbows. Hoping I have all my documents in order and that I won't find out anything new about myself at the customs.
Been working on a secret somewhat-less-typical-for-me project, but I can't share it till Monday
