I feel like the distortion, octaves, harmonies, hi-band flanger, delays and reverb are making this little piece of junk sound just like the dystopian nightmare that we’re living in right now…
I’m kind of fascinated by retro-futurism at the moment, the idea of the future taking us back in time and hooking up a 45 y/o kiddy keyboard to a modern day pedalboard arrangement really fits the vibe ✨
Think I’ma get lost down this rabbit hole forevermore but that’s cool, I really like it here x

She’s a vintage late 1960s Watkins Rapier 33, older than both my parents, with three single coil pick ups that come with the original 1960s toaster covers and a vibe tremolo 🔥
She plays like a shambolic dream, whatever that means, but that’s how she sounds. The scars she’s accumulated over the years give her so much personality, you can tell she’s a tough bitch who’s been through the mill and I fucking love that. So massively inspiring. Although she doesn’t stay in tune very well but why should she at her age?
There’s nothing quite like the feeling of playing a guitar that is so worn down and bringing it back to life again. Maybe I’ll show you soon… ♥️

The sun felt really strong today and it was nice ☀️ I’ve not sang on here in a while and I fucking LOVE singing this song so thought that might also be nice.
This song has been my 100 decibel mid-life crisis car bop for god knows how long. I’ve deffo had many a passer by chortle at me singing it like nobody’s watching.
Feeling the sun again reminded me how mesmerised I was by @wolfaliceband watching this with my mates at sunset at Glasto last year. I’ve never felt so fucking free (and in need of a sofa) and this masterpiece will always hold a special place in my heart.

The crowd was emotionally charged and the lads handled the immense pressure so well. So proud of the huge number of artists who used their platform at Glastonbury to speak for Palestinians.
Shame on the media and everyone who says genocide and politics doesn’t belong in music. Music is art in its most powerful form imo and I’ve never felt as much freedom and euphoria as I did this weekend.
We showed the world how we should be living our lives, singing songs about love, with complete adoration for all that surrounds us, shouting for those who can’t en masse, and it moved me to my very core.
