Calypso Club July 2025 Albuquerque, NM Services provided: Concept + brand creation, design, project management, build High above the main bar awaits the Calypso Club—Daydream’s sky-loft designed for intimate gatherings and celebrations. The space serves as a paradisal, private castle in the sky. We built a number of inspired, custom elements for the bar: soft cloud-like gathered globe lights suspended from the ceiling, a curved mahogany bar top and rum library wall, with portholes showcasing bottles from around the world. Candy colored tiles cover the floor like the stripes of a beach umbrella. A giant framed mirror on the back wall emblazoned with “Calypso Club” expands and gives visitors a sense of place. All together, the bar balances the dreamy with the tropical to create a refuge within a refuge.

Civic Plaza Little Bear Cafe January 2024 Albuquerque, NM Services provided: Design, project management, build New Mexico’s big, pink sunsets served as our inspiration for this cafe’s design. We chose light alder and a dappled cream tile to serve as the foreground for the pops of pink and shades of green that decorate the space. As the cafe is in the Clyde hotel, it was important its design fit into the hotel’s art deco theme and style. To reflect this luxurious style, we worked with a local artist to create a custom art piece for the back bar. The work is the focal point of the entire cafe, integrating gold leaf, reeded glass, framed by alder and back lit by incandescent light. Daydream Rum Bar July 2025 Albuquerque, NM Services provided: Concept + brand creation, design, project management, build Once a dark, dank concrete basement now a paradisal hideaway. Daydream Rum Bar is the crown jewel of Fox MFG, a project we orchestrated from inception to finish. The entire concept was loosely inspired by the Wes Anderson film, “The Life Aquatic”. Its fully custom interior recalls a Mediterranean cruise liner lost to time. With deep mahogany walls & booths, topaz and emerald dressed seating and lighting resembling pearl-mouthed oysters. Limitations like the space’s four load-bearing concrete pillars were utilized as guides to the bar’s eventual layout. WIth our creative planning, the 750 sqft space came to seat 50 guests comfortably, in a world unknown. Check out our portfolio at the bio link for the full story.

Isaac Fox Founder | Designer | Builder My affinity for fine craftsmanship was inherent and fueled by days spent at my family’s furniture factory. There, I spent hours watching the artisans, learning their process and admiring how their work turned lumber into gorgeous, functional pieces for others’ to enjoy. This deep appreciation and curiosity led me to pursue and develop my expertise in design and construction. Today, I’ve used that expertise to build numerous hospitality concepts and spaces. My nearly ten years of experience in hospitality has given me unique insight and resolve to create spaces that are as functional for staff as they are beautiful for patrons. Manufacturing spaces for time well spent. Learn more and check out my portfolio of work at the bio link.
