ok… last wedding sewing project, i swear.
i made my dream wedding veil which was more like a wedding coat / bolero/ cape. it was pleated, flowy, cathedral length and ethereal. i loved every minute of wearing it.

hi. i missed you. i wanted to let you know, old + new works are up at @littlebearcoffeeco nobhill. this art show made me get back to dreaming & into the studio and i’m so grateful for that.
i’m showing 10 pieces and have made 5 new works for a collection i call, EIGHT OR SO.
this collection, shown in slides 3 & 4, focuses on the softness of the desert; the pink lucid skies that, for a few moments everyday, recolor the plain and everything in it before melting into darkness.

for winnie and her friends.
i know it’s been a while… lots of life change has transpired, which i’ll share more another day. the most recent being that our vet has identified a large growing mass on the back of Winnie’s leg. the short of it is: it seems we’ve caught it early, we have her removal surgery scheduled in April and she is going to be ok (say it with me!)
receiving the news was scary but the anxiety that comes with waiting is it’s own challenge. one that makes me grateful to have sewing as an outlet.
designing and sewing these dog bandanas has been a small but welcome and therapeutic project.
